The annual Conference of Eastern College Men on the Christian Ministry, which was held last year at Phillips Brooks House and Andover Chapel, will take place in the Union Theological Seminary, New York City, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 16 to 18. The purpose of the Conference is to assist college students who may be considering their choice of a career to weigh the claims and opportunities of the Christian ministry as a life work. Men of experience will deal frankly with the difficulties and the possibilities of the ministry, both home and foreign, and students attending the conference will have opportunity for personal interviews with the speakers.
The conference is under the control of the Andover, Hartford and Union Theological Seminaries, who have arranged an elaborate program of speeches by churchmen prominent in various fields of ecclesiastical life, including Dr. Charles R. Brown, dean of the Yale School of Religion, and the Reverend John W. Planter, of the Andover Theological Seminary. The names of those expecting to be present should be sent as soon as possible to Mr. Carl B. Bare, 600 West 122d street, New York City.
