Professor I. L. Winter '86 will read Charles Dickens' "Christmas Carol" at a Christmas entertainment which will be given in Sanders Theatre at 8 o'clock tomorrow evening. The entire proceeds of this entertainment, which has been arranged by the Woman's Committee of the Council of National Defence, will be devoted to the Red Cross. Besides the reading by Professor Winter, a program of appropriate musical selections will be given by the University Choir and the Radcliffe Choral Society under the direction of Dr. A. T. Davison '06. The same program of songs will be presented as on the following evening in Appleton Chapel.
Tickets for the benefit entertainment are on sale at the Co-operative Branch Store and at Amee Brothers' for 50 cents and one dollar. Half-price tickets for members of the University and of Radcliffe have also been put on sale at Phillips Brooks House.
