TO GIVE 17 MEDICAL LECTURES

COURSE FREE TO PUBLIC WILL COMMENCE ON SUNDAY JANUARY 6.

The Faculty of Medicine of the University will offer a course of free public lectures on Medical subjects to be given at the Medical School, Longwood avenue, on Sunday afternoons, beginning January 6 and ending April 21, 1918. The lectures will begin at 4 o'clock, and the doors will be closed at 5 minutes past the hour.

The lectures will be given in the following order:

January 6--Dr. William F. Snow '61, Medical Reserve Corps, U. S. A., on "Social Hygiene and the War."

January 13.--Dr. W. T. Porter on "Surgical Shock."

January 20.--Dr. G. H. Wright '03 on "Teeth and their Relation to Human Ailments; a Plea for Conservation."

January 27. Miss Elizabeth Sullivan on "Home Nursing," with demonstrations.

February 3.--Dr. Richard M. Smith on "Child Welfare During the War."

February 10.--Miss Mary Beard on "Child Welfare."

February 17.--Dr. E. H. Bradford '69 on "Shoes and the Structure of the Foot."

February 24.--Bishop Lawrence '79 on "Social Infection and the Community."

March 3.--Dr. L. W. Baker '98 on "The Deformed Mouth of a Child; its Effect on the Child's Future."

March 10.--Dr. L. J. Henderson on "Food; How to Save It."

March 17.--Dr. F. W. White '94 on "What to Eat During War."

March 24.--Dr. Percy G. Stiles on "Some Aspects of Fatigue."

March 31.--Dr. Glenn I. Jones '06, Major, Medical Corps, U. S. A., on "Camp Sanitation and Control, and Hospital Administration at Camp Devens."

April 7.--Dr. J. B. Blake on "Accident and Injury, First Aid."

April 14.--Dr. E. H. Place '04 on "Immunity to Contagious Disease."

April 21.--Dr. I. C. Walker on "Hay Fever and Asthma."

April 28.--Dr. J. Levy, under the National Food Committee, on "Food Administration During the War."
