In the second Freshman soccer game of the season, held on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon, the 1921 team was defeated by Andover by a score of 2 to 0. The game was hard and fast throughout, with the result in doubt almost until the end. This is only the fourth week of practice for the Freshman players, and their work showed raggedness and lack of finish, as compared with the better team-work of the Andover players. Captain C. E. Masters '21 played a strong game for the Freshmen, participating in nearly every play.
The 1921 eleven was composed of the following men: G. H. Carpenter, W. L. Cummings, R. E. Henderson, S. S. Jordan, C. E. Masters, R. O. W. Powers, W. L. Pyle, E. O. Richards, C. P. Smith, R. R. Weaver, F. Beidler, H. M. Spelman. Several substitutions were made. The squad of about 20 men will continue practice this week in preparation for their several remaining games.
