1918 Debaters Defeated Sophomores

In a close and interesting debate last evening on the question, "Resolved, that in the light of recent events the Monroe doctrine has been rendered obsolete and should be abandoned," the Seniors, upholding the negative, defeated the affirmative Sophomore team. The winning team was composed of J. J. Caires, R. S. Tucker, K. Lewis, and J. Horblit, alternate, from the Senior Class, while the Sophomore debaters were H. A. Janzlik, R. P. Berle, L. A. Levy, and M. Kingsberg, alternate. The three judges of the contest were A. C. Hanford, A. W. Olmstead, and H. Jewell, 1L. H. Davis '18 presided.
