The November hour examination for Military Science 2 will take place in the New Lecture Hall this afternoon at 5 o'clock. It will cover the drill instruction in company formation and the lectures for the advanced course.
Practice in military ceremonies will begin on Thursday morning, when the First Battalion will have a battalion parade at its regular drill hour under the command of Major C. C. Lane '04. The third battalion will do the same work Friday afternoon, and the second Saturday morning. On all three occasions the regimental band, led by Chief Musician Carmichael, will be present.
About 30 members of the R. O. T. C. have taken application blanks for the third series of officers' training camps. Military headquarters wish to call special attention to the fact that letters of recommendation are not desired. Only the names of three reputable citizens who know the applicant well are necessary. Attention is also called to the fact that each applicant must be examined at his own expense by a reputable physician before the application blank will be accepted.
No more uniforms have arrived, so there will be no distribution today. If they should come and it is found possible to issue them tomorrow, an announcement will be published.
