In connection with the visit to the University on Thursday of the Hon. Newton D. Baker, Lieutenant Colonel L. W. B. Rees of the Royal British Flying Corps will make an address to the members of the University. This talk will be delivered in the New Lecture Hall at 4.30 o'clock, the subject concerning the aeroplane in modern warfare.
Colonel Rees has been in active service during the greater part of the war, and his exploits in the air have won for him the Victoria Cross, the highest honor obtainable in the British Army. He will discuss fully the tactics used in aerial warfare.
Members of the R. O. T. C. are expected to attend this lecture in uniform, and a special section of seats will be reserved for them in the center of the hall. The remaining seats will be open to all members of the University.
