The Lloyd McKim Garrison Prize, consisting of $100 and a silver medal, for the best poem on a subject or subjects annually to be chosen and announced by a committee of the Department of English," will this year be given for a poem on the subject, "Josiah Royce." Each poem should not exceed 50 lines, should bear an assumed name, and should be accompanied by a sealed letter containing the true name of the writer and superscribed with the assumed name.
The prize is open only to undergraduates of the College. Al manuscripts should be left at University 20, the office of the Secretary of the Faculty by 1 o'clock on March 31, 1917.
