The Freshman class will hold its last smoker of the year in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8.15 o'clock. A feature of the smoker will be short talks on various branches of athletics. W. J. Bingham '16, captain of the University track team, will deal with track athletics; A. Beane '11, who is helping the professional coaches, with the Freshman crews, will speak on rowing; and Coach Ball will take up baseball. H. Coolidge, vice-president of the class, will also speak.
For lighter entertainment motion picture plays have been provided. Blanche Sweet will appear in "Stolen Goods," and Mabel Normand in "The Diving Girl." There will also be a comedy film. Two comedians will add to the entertainment. Refreshments will be served as usual.
