The Massachusetts state championship, in doubles, will be held on the dirt courts of the Brae-Burn Country Club, West Newton, on May 27 and following days. The winners of this tournament will be the Massachusetts state champions, and will win a leg on the trophies which become the property of any team winning them three times, not necessarily in succession. In addition to the trophies, other prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up.
This tournament is open to all residents of the state, including students at any college in the state. The privileges of the club will be extended to all players during the tournament. The entrance fee is $1, and entries will be received by the Tennis Committee, Brae-Burn Country Club, West Newton, up to 7 o'clock, May 26.
