The catalog of the Graduate School of Business Administration for 1916-17, the preliminary edition of which may now be had at University 2, shows a promising increase in the number of men acting as instructors. Nineteen new names appear, most of them of men at the heads of manufacturing house, stores, news papers, and public utilities companies.
A new course of study leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Business Economics will be open next year to men desiring to undertake research in business subjects. It will serve primarily those who intend to become teachers in this field. The degree will be administered by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences acting through the Division of History, Government and Economics, and in co-operation with the teaching staff of the Graduate School of Business Administration.
