New. Haven, Conn., April 4.--Walter T. McGrath, of Springfield, has been dropped by the Sheffield Scientific School faculty because of scholastic difficulties. He played guard at Exeter two years before coming to Yale, where he played the same position on his freshman team. He was declared ineligible last fall because of his college work. Coach Jones had great hopes that he would play regular guard on next fall's eleven. He is the second man that has been lost within a week, as Betts will not return to college next fall.
