Over a hundred of the best drawings from the collection of the works of great masters, belonging to John Pierpont Morgan '89, have been received by the Fogg Museum, and will be placed on exhibition next Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
These drawings, which have been sent to the Museum as a loan by Mr. Morgan, are treasures of almost priceless value. The backbone of the Morgan collection of drawings consists of the well known Fairfax Murray collection, comprising more than twenty-five hundred examples, to which there have in recent years been very important additions from other sources, so that today this famous collection stands unrivalled in America. The drawings which will be on exhibition at the Fogg Museum are from among the most interesting of Mr. Morgan's collection. It may be fairly said that none of the loan collections exhibited in the past have had the rare distinction of this one.
