The unoccupied shop at 1280 Massachusetts avenue has been leased by the Harvard Flying Corps as a permanent headquarters. The room is on the ground floor of the building and has plate glass windows on both sides of the entrance. It was formerly the "Rendezvous," conducted as "Freshman Headquarters" by Leavitt & Peirce's last year. The corps will occupy the rooms before the end of this week.
To pay for the tenancy and furnishing of the rooms. Temporary Flight Captain H. H. Metcalf '17, Ridgely 4, has requested all members of the corps to make immediate payment of the dues, amounting to $2 for the rest of the college year.
Contributions from graduates, which will be used only to purchase the actual service equipment of the corps, will be received by Dr. Seabury W. Allen '91, 20 Charles River square, Boston. Dr. Allen yesterday consented to set as Graduate Treasurer of the Flying Corps.
