The class of 1918 will have an elaborate menu card for their dinner tonight in the new Sophomore Blue Book. This custom, begun by the class of 1916, was omitted last year, but has been revived by the present Sophomore class.
It is the aim of the Blue Book to supplement the Freshman Red Book by bringing the record of the class up to date. The Board has succeeded in doing this in an attractive form which makes the book doubly valuable to members of the class. The book contains new cuts of the 1918 baseball team and crew not available for the Red Book and traces the activities of 1918 men on this year's University teams. Class officers, committees, publications, and musical organizations receive recognition.
A new feature is the incorporation of a complete directory of the class giving local and home residences and telephone numbers. This makes the book more than a mere statistical review, giving it a useful permanence. The Blue Book is well supplied with advertising material which should assure its success from a financial as well as an artistic standpoint.
