Crimson Review Not Appreciated

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

(We invite all men in the University to submit communications on subjects of timely interest, but assume no responsibility for sentiments expressed under this head.)

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

To date scarcely 200 men, of which less than 40 are Freshmen, have signed up for the Princeton trip. Unless 300 sign up before Friday, the reduced rate of $7.75 will have to be abandoned. The committee has secured a rate low enough to warrant a good cheering section at Princeton, and thus far the response is discouraging. The importance of a cheering section need not be emphasized. In 1911, the football team played in Princeton, and the defeat is attributed to the fact that there was no Harvard undergraduate support. In 1913 the result of undergraduate support was manifested in the score. In that year, we had a cheering section of over 600. Since the applications for the game are to close this Friday, it is urged that as many as possible sign the blue-books at once. These books are at Leavitt & Peirce's, the Union, Memorial Hall and the Freshman dormitories. W. J. BINGHAM '16.
