A series of six lectures, entitled, "A Survey of Mathematical Logic," will be given by Dr. Henry M. Sheffer '05, lecturer on philosophy, in Emerson A on the dates given below at 4.30 o'clock. These lectures are designed for students of philosophy and mathematics, and they presuppose no acquaintance with mathematical logic. They are open to all members of the University and Radcliffe College. Following are the dates and titles of the separate lectures:
November 20.--"The Classification of Relations."
November 22.--"Incomplete Deductive Systems."
November 27.--"Complete Deductive Systems."
December 4.--"Problems in Postulate Theory."
Decembner 6.--"Logical Symbolism."
December 11.--"The Foundations of Logic."
