There will be a joint meeting of the University Socialist and International Polity Clubs next Monday afternoon, November 13, at 4.30, in the Trophy Room of the Union.
Senator La Fontaine, of Belgium, a noted Socialist leader and statesman, will speak on "The Relation of Internal to External Preparedness." This will be the first of a series of lectures which will take up in more detail the various phases of internal preparedness from different points of view. The policy of the Socialist Club this winter will be to have several open meetings with prominent speakers, among whom will be Frederick C. Howe. Commissioner of Immigration.
