RECORD FENCING SQUAD AT WORK

W. H. Russell '18, G. H. Code '18 and E. P. Hamilton '18 Nucleus of Team.

With Captain W. H. Russell '18 national swords champion and G. H. Code '18, back as the mainstays of a fencing squad which is the largest on record, the prospects for the University fencing team are the best in several years.

A further strengthening of the squad will be effected next week by the return from the Mexican border of E. P. Hamilton '18, also one of last year's veterans.

In spite of the fact that regular work for the team has already begun there is still a good chance for anyone who comes out now to make the team. Freshmen especially will find this an excellent opportunity to prepare for the competition for next year's University team. Candidates should report today or Monday in the fencing room of the Hemenway Gymnasium between 4 and 6.30 o'clock.
