Mr. Whitney Warren will give a lecture on "Our Friend--France," under the auspices of the Cercle Francais in Emerson D next Wednesday afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. Mr. Warren is a distinguished New York architect and was the designer of the Grand Central Station. He is also a Member of the French Institute and was selected to make the official report to the Institute on the injuries inflicted during the war on the Cathedral of Rheims. The lecture will be open to all members of the University and will be illustrated by lantern slides.
Immediately after the lecture the Cercle Francais will hold a reception to Mr. Warren in its rooms at Grays 17. This reception will be open to members of the Cercle, and to members of the Departments of French and Architecture.
