In the high-jump competition in the Cage yesterday, G. A. Whittemore '18 (handicap, 12 inches) tied with F. H. Copeland '17 (handicap, 6 inches) at the height of 5 feet 11 inches. Third place went to J. H. Spitz '17 (handicap, 12 inches) with a jump of 5 feet 9 inches.
G. A. Whittemore '18 (handicap, 1 foot 3 inches) also won in the broad-jump with a distance of 20 feet 11 3-4 inches. J. H. Spitz '17 (handicap, 1 foot 3 inches) took second place with 20 feet 7 3-4 inches. G. H. Hallett '19 (handicap, 6 inches) was third with 20 feet 4 inches, having made the best actual jump in the competition.
