DARTMOUTH INVITES UNIVERSITY MEN TO CARNIVAL

Intercollegiate Ski and Snowshoe Meet to be Held in Hanover, N. H., February 10.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Members of the University are invited by the Dartmouth Outing Club to attend the Seventh Annual Winter Carnival of the club and to compete in the Second Intercollegiate ski and snowshoe meet at Hanover, N. H., on February 10, 11, and 12.

It is planned to make the Carnival this year the largest ever held in America. Thanks to the generosity of the Rev. J. E. Johnson, honorary president of the club, it will be subsidized by endowment, thus making possible the proper attention to all details. The intercollegiate meet, including ski and snowshoe dashes, cross-country runs and a ski-jump, will be the feature of the Carnival. As students in all American and Canadian colleges are invited, excellent competition is expected. Prizes in all events are offered by the club. All competitors will be guests of the club during their stay, and will receive board and lodging free, as well as complimentary tickets to all affairs connected with the Carnival.

These latter will include performances by the Dartmouth Dramatic Association and the Dartmouth Musical Clubs, the Carnival Ball, a supper-dance, a Dartmouth-University of Bishops College (Canada) hockey game, and a Dartmouth-Yale basketball game.

Any men who are interested in attending the Carnival are requested to write immediately to L. H. Bell, secretary, Box. 291, Hanover, N. H.
