HARVARD AND RADCLIFFE IN OPERATIC PRODUCTION

FIRST OF TWO PERFORMANCES OF GLUCK'S "ORPHEUS" THIS EVENING.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first of two performances of Gluck's opera "Orpheus," given by the University Glee Club and the Radcliffe Choral Society, will take place in Agassiz House, Radcliffe, this evening at 8 o'clock. Tickets for the performances tonight and tomorrow may be obtained by calling the ticket manager, Miss Hester W. Browne '16, at Cambridge 22581, or by leaving a message at that number. The prices range from $2.00 to 75 cents.

The production of this opera, initiated unsuccessfully last spring, has been achieved finally through the combined activities of the two organizations. A large chorus of 80 members has been picked and thoroughly coached by Dr. A. T. Davison '06. The cast includes also a number of solo singers and dancers. The principal parts in the opera will be taken as follows: Orpheus, by Miss Amy Browne 1917; Eurydice, by Miss Sibyl Bingham 1916, and Amor, by Miss Phyllis Robbins 1914.
