Cornell Defeated M. I. T., 2 to 1

In a hotly contested game at the Arena yesterday afternoon, the Cornell hockey team vanquished the M. I. T. seven 2 to 1. The game was replete with spectacular shorts and excellent pass work. The Ithacans tallied both of their two points in the opening period, while Technology registered its lone tally in the second half.

The playing of the two Harding Brothers and the work of Myers at goal was excellent for Cornell, while Captain Clarence Clarke and Wanamaker carried off the honors for M. I. T. The Cornell team gave Technology permission to use Wanamaker, who played on the University team last winter. Ordinarily he would be barred by the one-year rule at Technology where he is a student this winter.
