The fourth of the series of five lectures on the Southworth Foundation upon the general subject "Landmarks in the History of Church Polity: will be given by the Rev. Ambrose White Vernon, D.D., minister of the Harvard Church, Brookline, in Room A of the Andover Seminary this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The subject of this afternoon's lecture is "The Beginnings of the Free Churches." The last of the series will be given on next Tuesday, the subject of which will be, "The Contribution of Congregationalism to Church Polity." The lectures are open to the public.
