CLOSE CONTEST IS EXPECTED

FRYE WILL PROBABLY PITCH AGAINST VERMONT NINE THIS AFTERNOON.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University baseball team will meet the Vermont nine on Soldiers Field today at 4 o'clock. This team was beaten last year in a close game by the score of 3 to 2. Harte will probably catch. It is undecided who will play third and also who will pitch but Beal and Frye are the likely men for the respective positions.
