LONGWOOD OPPONENTS AT TENNIS

Contest at Brookline.-Freshmen at Southboro.--Other Matches.

The University tennis team will play the Longwood team at the Longwood courts, Brookline, this afternoon. The team will play in the following order:

Singles.-Captain R. N. Williams, 2d, '16, G. C. Caner '17, W. Rand, 3rd. '17, L. Curtis, 2d, '16, J. Wooldredge '16, J. S. Brown, Jr., '17; doubles-Williams and Caner, Rand and Doty, Curtis and Wooldredge.

The Freshman team will play St. Mark's at Southboro at 3 o'clock and the second University team will meet Boston College in a four-man match on the Jarvis Field courts at 4. The match with Longwood, scheduled for the second team yesterday afternoon, was called off on account of rain.

The challenge round in the college singles tournament will be played Tuesday afternoon on the championship court on Holmes Field, at 2.30 o'clock, when H. Morgan '17 will meet R. N. Williams, 2d, '16, the present champion.

The final matches in the Freshman interdormitory tennis series to be played this afternoon are: at Soldiers Field at 2 o'clock, T. R. Allen vs. F. W. Ecker; on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock, S. Rollins vs. H. T. Davis.
