TENNIS SQUAD OUT TO TEN

Round-Robin Tournament to be Played Next Week to Pick Team to Make Southern Trip.

As a result of the preliminary trials for the tennis team, the following men have been retained on the University squad, and will compete in a round-robin tournament beginning Monday: R. N. Williams, 2nd, '16 (captain); F. Boyer '16; J. S. Brown, Jr., '17, G. C. Caner '17, L. Curtis, 2d, '16, A. F. Doty '16, T. J. D. Fuller '15, A. S. Peabody '16, W. T. Rand '17, J. Wooldredge '16.

Results of Yesterday's Play.

The matches played yesterday resulted as follows: W. T. Rand '17 defeated J. S. Brown, Jr., '17, 6-8, 7-5, 6-4; A. S. Peabody '16 defeated R. F. Crane '17, 6-2, 6-2; J. Wooldredge '16 defeated A. N. Guimaraes '16, 6-4, 6-1; L. Curtis, 2d, '16 defeated F. Boyer '16, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.

Any additional candidates for the Freshman tennis team must hand in their names to H. G. M. Kelleher '18, James Smith C 31 before 2 o'clock today.

Beginning Monday, the system for reserving tennis courts on Jarvis Field for the afternoon hours will be put in operation. Reservations may be made between 8.30 and 12.30 o'clock at the Hemenway Gymnasium, or after 12.30 at the Field.
