The work of wrecking the two houses now standing on the site of the new CRIMSON building on Plympton street will begin today, and will be completed in about ten days. The lot will be ready for excavation within two weeks.
The plans for the buildings, as drawn up by the architects, Jardine, Hill, and Murdock, of New York, are completed and have been accepted by the CRIMSON. They are now calling for bids for the construction contract. This contract will be let at once in order that the actual construction may begin as soon as the work of wrecking the old buildings is finished.
The complete plans of the new home of the CRIMSON, as definitely accepted will be published later in the week.
