TENNIS TRIP BEGINS ON MONDAY

Team Will be Composed of Four Men and is to Play Six Matches.

The first southern trip ever taken by a University tennis team will begin on Monday when the team will leave for Providence to play the Agawam Hunt Club. From there it will travel to Philadelphia where it will meet the Philadelphia Cricket Club. On Wednesday the team will be with the University crew at Annapolis, and will play a match with the Midshipmen. The Chevy Chase Club of Washington will be met on Thursday, and on Friday the team will go to Norfolk and play the Norfolk Country Club. A match with the Baltimore Country Club at Baltimore on Saturday will wind up the trip.

The following five men will make the trip: G. C. Caner '17, L. Curtis, 2d, '16, W. T. Rand '17, Captain R. N. Williams, 2d, '16, and Manager G. H. Williams '15.

The 1918 team trials will be re-continued after the vacation in preparation for the matches which are scheduled to begin in May.
