BLACKS BEAT REDS IN LAST GAME

Spring Football Practice Ended With Hard-Fought Scrimmage.

In the last spring practice football game the Blacks defeated the Reds 7 to 0. The touchdown came in the last period of play when M. Saddler '17 carried the ball across the Reds' goal line on a straight buck through centre. Just previous to the winning play, G. Sagar '17 caught a forward pass from M. Taylor '18 and ran half the length of the field.

The teams lined up as follows:

Blacks.--Centre, Francis, de Rham; guards, Townsend, Crocker; tackles, Wentworth, Snow; ends, P. Day, Eckfeldt; quarter, Taylor; backs, Haley, Sagar, Sadler, Gardner.

Reds.--Centre, L. B. Day; guards, Leighton, Hartley, Carter; tackles, Dean, Dadmun; ends, Nelson, Coolidge; quarter, Doherty; backs, Ellison, Gersumky, Selden.
