A National Security League of the University will hold its first meeting in the Trophy Room of the Union tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The purpose of the organization is to arouse public influence to secure a systematic plan of national defence according to the plans of the National Security Commission created by Congress. Several prominent men, including the Hon. A. P. Gardner '86, M. C., who believe in national armament have been asked to speak on an increase in the number of battleships and a larger standing army. The active work of the society will be fully explained and all members of the University interested in such a project are invited to attend and take part in the discussion.
