1918 BUSINESS COMPETITION

NEW OPPORTUNITY OFFERED TO FRESHMEN IN VIEW OF NEW BUILDING

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This year for the first time the CRIMSON offers an opportunity to Freshmen to try for the business department of the paper. This is due to the prospect of a new CRIMSON Building, and the consequent enlargement of the responsibilities of the business managers. An invaluable knowledge of the financing and distribution of a college daily is to be gained. One man will be taken on this spring, and will assume the duties of an assistant business manager next year, and may attain the business managership of the paper in his Senior year. General business efficiency will be given most weight in the selection of the successful candidate. The competition will close before the beginning of the final examinations.

A meeting of all Freshmen who are going to enter the competition will take place in the CRIMSON Office in the basement of the Union this afternoon at 5 o'clock. No previous experience is necessary and all men who are interested are urged to take advantage of the opportunity.
