The preliminary trials for the Lee Wade II Prizes in public speaking will be held in Sanders Theatre this afternoon from 3.30 until 5 o'clock and this evening from 7 until 9 o'clock. The sum of $50 divided in proportions of $25, $15, and $10 will be awarded to the three winners in the finals which will be held in Sanders Theatre on Wednesday, March 31. Thirty-two men are entered for the trials today, and they will all deliver the same selection,--a portion of Webster's famous reply to Hayne.
