MEETING OPENS TRACK SEASON

LEADERS TO ADDRESS UNIVERSITY AND FRESHMAN CANDIDATES TONIGHT.

All candidates for the University and Freshman track teams will be called out this evening when a meeting will be held in the Assembly Room of the Union at 7 o'clock. The various competitions will be outlined and complete plans for the work of field events, track, and relay candidates for the coming season will be arranged. Captain F. W. Capper '15, W. A. Barron, Jr., '14, captain of last year's team, N. W. Bingham '95, and W. M. Rand '09, of the Advisory Committee will address the meeting.

Regular practice for both the University and Freshman teams will begin tomorrow afternoon, when all men are to report at the Locker Building at Soldiers Field. Coach Donovan will again have charge of the dash and distance runners, and J. F. Powers will coach the field event candidates. C. C. Little '10 will act as assistant in coaching the Freshman team.
