The Ricardo Prize scholarship examination will be held in Upper Dane Hall today at 3 o'clock. The scholarship is valued at $350, and is open to anyone who is a member of the University this year and who will next year be either a member of the Senior class, or of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Each candidate will write in the examination room an essay on a topic chosen by himself from a list not previously announced, in economics and political science. In addition, statements of previous studies, and any written work, must be submitted by every candidate to the chairman of the Department of Economics, not later than the time of the examination. The man who wins the scholarship must devote the majority of his time next year to economic and political studies, giving special attention to the problems involved in the relation of the State to industrial enterprise.
