FIRST-YEAR SMOKER PLANNED

LAW SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT IS TO TAKE PLACE AT HARVARD CLUB.

The date for the first-year law smoker has been set for April 9, and, according to present plans, it will be held in the Harvard Club of Boston. This is the first entertainment of the kind that the first-year men have ever had and the committee is endeavoring to arrange an unusually entertaining program. Original talent from the class together with speeches by Dean Thayer and some of the professors will make up the evening's entertainment. An original double quartet has been gotten together on which are former Glee Club men from six universities.

All men who can write songs, poems, jokes, or who can draw are asked to see W. H. Shepardson, 11 Brown street, and those who can sing, play any instrument, particularly the piano, should see D. M. Parker, 4 Story street. Information may be obtained from the following men: H. A. P. Carter, S. V. Claggett, D. E. Dunber, B. D. Edwards, G. H. Semler, W. H. Shepardson.
