POOR PASSING MARKED DEFEAT

B. A. A. Won Scrimmage, 5 to 2.--Doty and Phillips Out of Practice.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The B. A. A. seven defeated the University first team and substitutes by a 5 to 2 score in a twenty-minute scrimmage at the Arena yesterday afternoon. Poor shooting and passing-characterized the playing for the University. Curtis and Wanamaker made the two tallies.

Previous to the scrimmage Coach Winsor put the squad through a strenuous drill in shooting, and particularly in receiving passes from behind the cage. Doty and Phillips took no part in the scrimmage, but both will be in shape for the Yale game.
