The first 1918 Smoker will be held in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8.30 o'clock. Arrangements have been made with the Modern Theatre whereby a very entertaining program of "movies" will be furnished. The features will be "Hypocrites" in four reels; and Charlie Chaplin in "The Woman" (two reels). Neither of these films have been shown in Boston before. There will also be two reels of the Pathe Weekly, in which recent Harvard news will be portrayed, and some "Animated Cartoons" by Bray.

The usual refreshments will be served in abundance. Plenty of cigarettes will be in evidence. Adequate arrangements have been made by the committee to have everyone served expeditiously so that the crowding which caused delay last year will be avoided.

The smoker tonight is the first of a series of four running through the year. The dates of the remaining smokers are as follows: January 12, March 29, and April 26.
