Freshman Debaters Selected

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At the debating trials held last night the following men were selected for the Freshman team: G. A. Brownell, M. Cowley, D. Davis, and J. T. Noonan, alternate. These men will argue the affirmative of the question, "Resolved, That it is for the best interests of the United States to lend economic and financial aid to the European belligerents," against the Sophomore team. The 1918 men who will uphold the negative are: L. Brentano, D. Davis, W. S. Murphy, and S. N. Dunton, alternate. This debate will be held in Harvard 5 on December 13 and not December 15, as previously announced.

The Junior-Senior debate will probably be hand the same evening on the same subject, the Juniors taking the affirmative and the Seniors the negative.
