The Phi Beta Kappa Society will hold its annual reception and dinner to the 30 men recently elected from the Junior and Senior classes in the Union this evening at 6.30 o'clock. The date is the anniversary of the founding of the Harvard chapter of the Phi, Beta Kappa.
President Lowell will present keys to the new members and batons to the marshals at the reception in the Trophy Room. The undergraduate secretary will then read a short sketch of the Society's history. William Roscoe Thayer '81 will act as toastmaster at the dinner in the Territorial Room, which will immediately follow the reception. Several graduate members of the Society will speak.
All undergraduate and graduate members of the Harvard chapter, as well as all other Phi Beta Kappa men who are now students or officers of the University, are urged to attend and to notify Mr. W. C. Lane '81, at the Widener Library, immediately of their intention of doing so.
