Wellesley Professor to Give Lecture in Emerson

Dr. Mary Whiton Calkins, professor of philosophy and psychology at Wellesley college, will give an address in Emerson F this evening at 8 o'clock. Dr. Calkins' subject will be: "The Place of the Feeling of Obligation in the Moral Consciousness." The meeting will be under the auspices of the Philosophical Club and all members of the University and the public are invited.

Dr. Calkins is well known for her writing in the field of philosophy and psychology. Among the most important of her works are: "The Persistent Problems of Philosophy" and "A First Book in Psychology," both of which have been reprinted in extra editions.
