Dean Briggs, president of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, will open the first session of the tenth annual convention of the Association at the Hotel Astor, New York, on December 28. Professor Taft and Professor Corwin; of Yale, and Dean McClenahan, of Princeton, will also speak. The complete program is as follows:
Morning Session.
Roll call. Address, Dean Briggs. Address, Professor Albert LeFevre, University of Virginia; "College Ideals and Athletics," Professor R. H. Corwin, Yale; "Athletic Standards," Dean Howard McClenahan, Princeton; "Athletics for All," President H. A. Garfield, Williams; appointment of committee on credentials, and of committee on nominations.
Afternoon Session.
Report of committee on credentials; report of the secretary-treasurer; reports from districts; reports of standing committees.
Evening Session.
An address by Professor W. H. Taft, of Yale, on "College Athletics," followed by a general discussion on topics suggested by the delegates.
