At the organization, meeting of the 1919 Debating Society, held in the Smith Halls common room last evening, M. Shattuck, of Seattle, Wash., was elected president, and R. T. Bushnell, of Andover, secretary treasurer. Professor J. H. Beale '82, Judge A. P. Stone '93, E. R. Robberts '16, chairman of the committee on organization, and C. A. Trafford, Jr., '16, president of the council addressed the meeting, which was attended by about several-five members off the Freshman class.
