Hammer-Throwers Needed for Track

By F. P. Clement .

The track team is in need of candidates for the hammer-throw for the spring season. Coach Clark is at Soldiers Field between the Stadium and the baseball stand every afternoon from 2.30 to 4.30 o'clock. The team is especially weak in the hammer-throw and if a victory is to be won from Yale next spring it is necessary that candidates report this fall while the weather remains such that practice can be held out deers. Furthermore, by learning the essentials now, fully a month's head start will be gained on those who start next spring.
