A new injury was added to the long hospital list of the Freshman squad yesterday when it was discovered that Trainer, a substitute back, who was injured in the Dean game last Saturday, had suffered a broken ankle.
The Freshmen scrimmaged very poorly yesterday, and their listlessness was discouraging in view of the way they played last Saturday. Playing against the University second team they carried the ball to the five-yard line, where they failed in eight attempts to put it across. The Freshman lacked coordination and failed to show their usual power. Selden at centre, and Taylor at quarterback for the seconds played well.
The Freshman teams A and B also had a long signal drill and scrimmage.
