MURDOCK NAMED SECOND MARSHAL AND SECRETARY OF PHI BETA KAPPA.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Phi Beta Kappa Society announces the election of Cloyd Laporte '16, of St. Louis, Mo., as First Marshal; Kenneth Ballard Murdock '16, of Chestnut Hill, as Second Marshal; Walter Marshall Horton '17, of Arlington, as Poet; Jacob Adams Emery '17, of Philadelphia, Pa., as Orator; and Kenneth Ballard Murdock '16, as secretary.

The Society wishes to announce again this year that the office of First Marshal is a purely honorary one, given to the man who in the opinion of the Society is its first scholar; and that the Secretary is the sole executive officer.
