The Freshman class will hold a mass meeting in the Smith Halls Common Room tomorrow night, when Captain E. W. Mahan '16 of the University eleven, Coach L. Saltonstall '14 of the Freshman team, and Captain H. C. Flower '19 of the Freshman team, will speak. The class will parade to the field to cheer practice on Friday afternoon.

Improvement in Yesterday's Practice.

Coach Saltonstall gave the Freshman eleven a long signal drill yesterday afternoon, followed by a fast scrimmage with team B. The team showed improvement over the work of the past week, and the work of Bond, who put over three placement kicks from the forty, forty-two, and forty-five-yard lines, respectively, was especially encouraging. The whole team played better as a unit, and two or three more scrimmages should polish off their team-work in good shape.

It has developed that Brewer's injury received in the Exeter game, is a broken rib which will keep him out of the game for the rest of the season. He was regular right end.
