One of the matches in the semi-final round of the singles and all matches in the second round of the doubles were completed on Jarvis Field yesterday afternoon. Play will continue this afternoon, when the semi-final round of the singles and most of the third round of the doubles will be completed. Matches will be decided by the best two sets out of three, except in the semi-finals when there will be three out of five.
Trials for Class Teams Tomorrow.
All men wishing to come out for the class teams must leave their names at the following places before 6 o'clock this evening: Seniors, Stoughton 23; Juniors, Beck 21; Sophomores, 6 Holyoke Place; Freshmen, Persis Smith A 24. All men should state afternoon engagements. Trials for the class teams will be held tomorrow and Thursday, and play will begin Friday.
