WALLACE ELIGIBLE FOR ALL INTERCOLLEGIATE CONTESTS

Yale and Princeton Authorities Agreed on Question of His Eligibility for Athletics.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Athletic Association announced last night that after due consideration and conference with the Yale and Princeton athletic authorities, Donald Joseph Wallace '16, of Los Angeles, Cal., was declared eligible to take part in intercollegiate contests. It was also stated that he would be in his old position of centre in the game with Cornell tomorrow.

The question of Wallace's eligibility has been under discussion for over two weeks. The facts of the case are that two years ago he took part in a soccer game in a small college in southern California, playing for five minutes. The question under discussion was whether this made him ineligible to take part in athletics at the University under the three year rule. It was finally decided that he was eligible.
